Taking inspiration from the age-old disciplines of Yoga and our destination expert knowledge, we’ve crafted nature getaways into some of the most scenic and picturesque states of India. Surrounded by the calm of nature, observing laws of the wild, you will learn about Yoga, more than just physical exercises but also as an ideology, of mental and spiritual practices.

Retreat to the Serene South

Kerala
Starting in the port city of Kochi with its ever-intriguing blend of cultures and multiple footprints, you will be exploring God’s own country of Kerala, with its lush emerald greens, and pristine backwaters. Accompanied by your host as well as Yoga experts, you’ll learn how to apply the principles of Yoga and Ayurveda (traditional Indian medicine) to lead a healthier lifestyle, while simultaneously immersing yourself in pristine natural surroundings of the region.

1. Kochi

The trail starts in serene and intriguing Kochi. With the Arabian Sea serving as a backdrop, there will be a discussion with our storyteller on the basics of Yoga, the
theme of the tour as well as an overview of the planned itinerary. Enjoy your first Yoga session here.

2. Munnar

Amidst the lush green tea plantations of Munnar, learn about the different types of Ayurvedic food as you meditate and perform Yoga. It is the perfect place to feel closer to nature, all the greens and the low hanging clouds acting like a buffer between you and the tensions of the world.

3. Periyar

Surrounded by unending hills home to a variety of animals, take part in a Mantra chanting session and enjoy early morning jungle treks in Periyar National Park. Apart from the Yoga and meditation sessions a spice plantation walk is also organised.

4. Kumarakom

As you enjoy the serene backwater lagoons of Kerala, indulge in some Yoga sessions and learn about the science of Ayurveda. Also interact over lunch with a local family. Attend a classical dance performance here and enjoy fresh backwater fish caught on the houseboat.

5. Kovalam

Relax with Yoga on the beach in Kovalam, paradise for Ayurveda lovers of the world. The days here will be spent as per consultation with experts after an evaluation, who will prescribe diets and exercises on a case by case basis.
